Pam, a special education teacher, was diagnosed with stage III multiple myeloma in December of 2010. She had to undergo radiation and chemotherapy, as well as two back surgeries to correct the damage the cancer caused to her vertebrae. Pam spent six months in the hospital and was unable to walk independently for five months. She is now displaced from her home once again while she receives a stem cell transplant. Pam is in need of assistance with her living expenses.
