Sandra was diagnosed with acute myelogenous leukemia (AML) in 2008. She underwent an allogeneic stem cell transplant this past March and her sister was her perfect match donor. Sandra was a music teacher, but has been unable to work due to treatment. Despite everything she has been through, she continues to savor life each day, living it with enthusiasm, passion and gratitude. Assistance with post-transplant related expenses would help Sandra return to teaching, singing, and recording.
The Bone Marrow and Cancer Foundation relies 100% on private donations. Your generous Lifeline Fund donation will make a significant difference in the lives of patients like Sandra.
