Thirteen-year-old Cynthia was diagnosed with Philadelphia chromosome and chronic myeloid leukemia (Ph+CML) in November of 2010. She recently underwent a bone marrow transplant and now she and her mother are staying near the hospital for follow-up care. Cynthia is looking forward to going home so she can spend time with her family, including her two younger sisters. She is also looking forward to going back to school. While Cynthia focuses on returning home, her family could use assistance with post-transplant related expenses.
