In June of 2012, Patricia was diagnosed with stage IV non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma and began a lengthy series of tests and treatment. She lost her job, health insurance, and savings while preparing for her recent stem cell transplant. Patricia worked hard her whole life and always had a positive attitude, but never expected to be in this position. Her dear friend, Susan, has been a huge support to her, acting as her caregiver and transporting her to her treatment. Patricia now has mounting medical bills and ongoing treatment expenses that she is in need of assistance with. Although it has been a difficult journey, she is maintaining a positive outlook and is so thankful to those that have helped her along the way.
