Charles received an allogeneic bone marrow transplant in October 2014 at MD Anderson Cancer Center to treat his Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML). Charles was forced to relocate from his home in Louisiana to Houston, Texas, for his transplant. He needs assistance paying for his lodging in Houston, and for the trips between LA and TX for his follow-up care. Charles has been unable to work for a year due to his illness. His wife is his caregiver, and is also unable to work until Charles is fully recovered (which could take up to a year).
The Bone Marrow and Cancer Foundation relies 100% on private donations. Your generous Lifeline Fund donation will make a significant difference in the lives of patients like Charles.
