Richard will be receiving an allogeneic stem cell transplant on October 28, 2014 to treat the combination diagnoses of Myelodysplastic Syndrome (MDS) and Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML). He is the sole provider for his family of six and has four young children. Richard's income does not cover the medical and living expenses for his young family. He receives treatment in Texas, though he resides in Utah. Richard must pay out of pocket for lodging expenses in Houston and will require frequent travel to Houston post-transplant; therefore, he will need assistance for transportation, housing, and living expenses.
The Bone Marrow and Cancer Foundation relies 100% on private donations. Your generous Lifeline Fund donation will make a significant difference in the lives of patients like Richard.
