Edward (Skip), 63, has been diagnosed with multiple myeloma in April of 2015 and is scheduled for a transplant on August 25, 2015. Skip opened an animal rescue with his wife, Cindy, in 2006 and are the main caretakers for 154 animals. Moreover, they live month to month to pay their bills using what they earn from running a small candy store. Skip receives some social security money, but is no longer able to work as many hours has he once could, making the families payroll higher than it has ever been before. Cindy and Skip are looking for financial assistance to cover medical expenses, housing, transportation, and food. They also need help compensating someone to care for the 154 animals while they go through Skip’s treatment. The family thanks you for your gracious donation.
