I am Amir gilini. 53 years old and I have 3 boys 17,14 and 11 year old.
on January 2025 I start having back pain and I thought it may be a disck because  I am working as a civil engineer and my work meds a lot of hand work. The pain start to be very bad with a lot of sweating overnight, my doctor ask me to do MRI for my spine and the results came back with a lot of tumors over the vertebrae and thank God it is not touch my nerve but my right leg start to be weak and I start use a walker. Then I meet Dr. Cuavo at inova he is a oncologist and they took 2 biopsy from my lymph node and the results came back that o am on stage 4 of diffuse B cell lymphoma and it spread all over my body. They start giving me chemo every 3 weeks and after the 3 rd cycle they did pet scan and they found the tumor did not respond to the treatment so the doctor decided to give me a stronger type of chemo that affected me so bad. At this time I lost all my hair and I can’t walk without help. I took another 3 cycles of the stronger chemo and they repeat the PET scan again and they found NO response again. So the doctor decided to stop the chemo and start immune therapy they start with a very low dose and they kept me at the hospital and unfortunately I got a sever reaction they kept me at the hospital for 18 days because my heart pulse is 210 and I had a very low blood pressure 57/43. They move me to the ICU. then they stop this medication again and they said I have to go to John Hopkins to do CAR T cell therapy and this treatment may help me. So I came to Baltimore from my state to start the treatment
