Joshua celebrated his second birthday on September 6, 2012, just over one year after receiving his first bone marrow transplant, and a few months before he underwent his second. These two years have not been easy for Joshua, who was diagnosed with hemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis (HLH) when he was four months old. In order to fight this disease, Joshua and his single mother had to move from their home to be near the treatment center. The financial effect of his treatment and continued care has been difficult and they need help paying for medical assistance devices, medications, and living expenses.
The Bone Marrow and Cancer Foundation relies 100% on private donations. Your generous Lifeline Fund donation will make a significant difference in the lives of patients like Joshua.
