Saige, a fourteen year old girl, was diagnosed with severe aplastic anemia in March. Treatment required a bone marrow transplant, and her family was extremely grateful when Saige’s sister turned out to be a perfect match. She underwent her transplant on her birthday this past June. Saige and her mother needed to remain locally near the treatment center, while her father and siblings remained at home. This separation has caused a financial strain on the family and they would benefit from any financial assistance provided.
