Michael, a fast food manger, was diagnosed with multiple myeloma in June of 2009. After aggressive radiation and chemotherapy, he received a stem cell transplant in November of 2010. He also needed surgery to correct the damage to his L1, L2, L3 and T12 vertebra caused by the cancer. Michael is still being treated with maintenance chemotherapy medication and needs assistance with living expenses.
