Joshua (Josh) was diagnosed with POEMS syndrome (osteosclerotic myeloma) and will be undergoing an autologous bone marrow transplant in February 2015 to treat this disease. His aunts, uncles, and friends will be staying with him at the treatment facility in Ohio, while his wife will have to stay with both of their young children at home in Nebraska. Joshâ€™s wife works full time to support their family. His long-term disability has only been approved for four months. . Any financial support will alleviate Josh and his family of the various financial burdens associated with living and medical expenses.
