# Efren’s Cancer Journey 🚀  Diagnosis and Initial Treatment 🩺 **Type of Cancer**: T-Cell Lymphoma (rare and aggressive)

– **Symptoms**:- Physical pain resembling arthritis & Swollen lymph nodes

– **Current Treatment**: Chemotherapy- Efren has been undergoing chemotherapy since diagnosis.

– The TCell cancer has gone into remission! 🎉This is a Fundraiser for Efren’s Treatment and Support 💖

## Current Situation 🏥

– **Efren’s Treatment**: Undergoing intensive chemotherapy and preparing for a Blood and Marrow Stem Cell Transplant.

– **Caregiver**: I am providing care for Efren during this critical time.

– **Work Status**:- Efren is unable to work due to the length and intensity of his treatment.- I am working part-time, but we anticipate a **2-month period** of reduced income.

## Upcoming Procedures 🏥

– **Blood and Marrow Stem Cell Transplant**: – Required due to the aggressive nature of the cancer.

– Efren will be in **Memorial Cancer Institute** for the next **6 weeks**.

– **Chemotherapy Details**:

– Receiving the strongest dose his body can tolerate.

– Immunity will be brought to zero on **Christmas Eve**. 🎄

– **Stem Cell Harvesting**: Completed successfully.

## Transplant Timeline ⏳

– **Transplant Date**: **Christmas Day** (December 25, 2025)

– **Procedure Duration**: Expected to last until **January 6, 2026**.

– **Post-Transplant Care**:

– **Home Isolation**: 6 weeks post-transplant.

– **Monitoring**: Continuous for 3-6 months.
