Housing Assistance Program

Our Housing Assistance Program (HAP) enables patients and families to travel to the best cancer centers to receive care without worrying about the costs of lodging.

Housing Assistance Program Update

Our Housing Assistance Program is currently paused for general applications. However, the program remains available for hospital partners and private donors interested in collaborating with the Bone Marrow & Cancer Foundation to provide housing support for patients and families. For partnership or funding opportunities, please contact us to learn more by emailing [email protected].

How it Works

Our housing assistance team reviews applications submitted by social workers or nurses on behalf of eligible patients. Once approved, the team assesses the patient’s housing needs and books an Airbnb home near their treatment center. Note: Currently, housing is grant dependent.

How to Apply

Patients who would like to be considered for temporary housing assistance should have their social worker or nurse reach out to us for an application at [email protected]. Note that medical team members must apply on behalf of patients.
