Brandon’s journey began with autoimmune hemolytic anemia that lead to a multiple myeloma diagnosis.
Over the past year, my life changed in ways I never could have imagined. What began as unexplained fatigue and anemia eventually led to the diagnosis of autoimmune hemolytic anemia, followed by an even more life-changing diagnosis of multiple myeloma, a rare blood cancer. Countless doctor appointments, hospital stays, blood tests, biopsies, and months of chemotherapy became part of my daily reality. Through every setback, I was surrounded by incredible support from my wife, family, friends, coworkers, and medical team, whose encouragement carried me through some of the hardest days of my life.
After months of treatment, my journey led to an autologous stem cell transplant, one of the most challenging experiences I’ve ever faced. Recovery has required patience, determination, and faith, but each day brings another step forward. While the road isn’t over, I’m grateful for the progress I’ve made and hopeful for what lies ahead. This fundraiser will help ease the financial burden of ongoing medical care and recovery, allowing me to focus on healing and returning to the people and work I love.
