Please Help Deirdre Through Her Cancer Journey
Dear Family and Friends,
It is with heavy hearts that we share that Deirdre has been diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma, a cancer of the blood and bone marrow. Our family is preparing for one of the most difficult journeys we have ever faced, and we are reaching out to ask for your support.
In the coming days, Deirdre will be admitted to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, where she will spend approximately three weeks undergoing high-dose chemotherapy followed by a stem cell transplant. While this treatment offers hope, it will be physically and emotionally demanding, with a long road to recovery ahead.
During this time, our family’s focus will be entirely on helping Deirdre heal. The extended hospitalization and recovery period mean we will be unable to work as we normally would, while also facing significant medical expenses, travel costs, everyday household bills, and lost income.
Asking for help is never easy, but we’ve come to realize that allowing others to stand beside us is part of this journey. If you are able to contribute, no amount is too small. Every donation will go directly toward medical expenses, transportation, household bills, and the many unexpected costs that accompany cancer treatment.
