This week has been a rough one, with an admission to Enloe, labs draws 3 times and receiving 3 units of blood to keep his red blood cells at a decent level to prevent fatigue, weakness and shortness of breath. He has officially completed his first round of chemo, taking his last dose on Thursday, 4/11. Now we wait for his next bone biopsy to determine his level of blasts. The results of that procedure will determine our next step, another round of pre chemo regimen or bone marrow transplant route. We shall see, so pray for the best path for Kevin. Still waiting to hear from Stanford hospital to establish care for the tranplant as we are required to go there due insurance complications. While this is a ripple in the plan we will take everything one day at a time.
