January 29, 2022 (Day -3)

1/29/2022

The side effects from the chemo are starting to set in. I haven’t had an appetite today and when I tried to eat lunch, I ended up vomitting. I managed to eat some saltine crackers since then. Other than that, I just feel tired today.

Last night’s blood counts:

White blood cells: 1.9

Hemoglobin: 9.3 (got 2 units of blood the night before)

Platelets: 13

Also, a big thank you to Jennifer for being the first to donate to my Carelines fund! Every donation helps with medical costs and living expenses while I am unable to work; donations made through Carelines are also tax deductible!

Your contributions directly support cancer patients

With rising cancer rates, our work has never been more important. All donations for the Bone Marrow & Cancer Foundation go to services that directly help cancer patients, survivors, and families. The Foundation relies 100% on private donations. We depend on individual and corporate donors, as we don’t receive government or public funding. We offer innovative ways to contribute, and options for doubling the impact of donations. Thank you for your support, it means so much to so many patients.
