So tomorrow I’m seeing my oncologist and Wednesday they’ve scheduled me for a visit to the cardio-oncology department of Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis because my latest ECG showed a left ventricular infusion of only about 40%. Don’t know yet if this is entirely due to reduced activity due to the cancer over the past year or other causes, but it definitely will delay the start of CAR-T because the extraction process for taking out the needed cells for producing what’s to be used in treatment was originally scheduled to begin on June 4th. Heart situation explains one reason I’ve been feeling so weak, but it’s also a problem because there’s no telling when the leukemia cells showing the Richter’s transformation may attach themselves to lymph cells and begin the formation of newer lymphomas once again. Otherwise reasonably well, still no ability to taste salty; sweet, or sour yet and probably not eatingenough. Did have first salad, with olive oil and vineger dressing, in at least 6 months yesterday.
