Hello!

We are happy to say that Eric’s TCells have successfully been manufactured at the NIH facility. The doctors informed us last week that there was some difficulty getting his cells through the filters of the machine that produced the genetically modified Tcells. However, the manufacturers devised a system of processing the cells with additional mix-ins (I know, very scientific here), so that future clinical trial participants will not face the same problem. They dubbed this “The Eric Protocol”. 

So, Eric will do his best to feel his best until his TCells grow and are ready to be infused- most likely March 1st. 

He will have to be off most of his chemo until then, so keep him in your thoughts to keep the bad cells at bay.
