Treatment

11/12/2021

Since my lymphoma came back in August I have had 4 cycles of chemotherapy that involved me traveling 2 hours away from my home to receive it.  The week after Thanksgiving I will be heading to Charleston (MUSC) so that they can collect my stem cell to freeze.  This will be done outpatient but I will not know until 6 pm each day if they have collected enough that day or if I will need to go back the next day for them to collect more.  My nursing skills will be coming in handy as I have to give myself injections prior to the collection.

Thank you all for your love and support

Your contributions directly support cancer patients

With rising cancer rates, our work has never been more important. All donations for the Bone Marrow & Cancer Foundation go to services that directly help cancer patients, survivors, and families. The Foundation relies 100% on private donations. We depend on individual and corporate donors, as we don’t receive government or public funding. We offer innovative ways to contribute, and options for doubling the impact of donations. Thank you for your support, it means so much to so many patients.
