Update, Monday 11/11/24

My mom is receiving her 5th and 6th doses of chemotherapy this evening, with two different kinds of drugs. She’s starting to feel the effects more strongly now, experiencing nausea, a loss of appetite, skin sensitivity, and shakes. She also mentioned that the port they inserted is causing her some pain.
As you can imagine, this is becoming increasingly difficult for her. Thankfully, she has her “Tucker” bear with her—a special gift from my nephew during her previous transplant—that brings her comfort. She’s keeping her spirits up and continues to pray for strength and healing through it all.
She’s been in the hospital for four days now, with many more to go. Please continue to keep her in your thoughts and prayers as she faces this second stem cell transplant journey. Your support means the world to us!
