In March 2024, I received a life altering diagnosis of multiple myeloma, and amidst the storm, I found solace in faith. The year 2024–2025 brought formidable challenges, including relearning how to walk and multiple hospitalizations. Yet through prayer and medical miracles, I was blessed with the opportunity for a stem cell transplant in May 2025, marking a pivotal new chapter in my life.
Although I continue maintenance chemotherapy every two weeks, I remain steadfast and resilient. Unfortunately, my job does not cover medical leave, and balancing treatment with everyday expenses has been incredibly difficult. Admitting vulnerability and accepting support wasn’t easy, but the kindness and generosity I’ve encountered have been truly uplifting.
