Reaching out to a Community of Support

Welcome to Tye'Sean ’s Carelines page! Thank you for coming to support Tye'Sean in his journey of recovery. Here you can:

On November 20th, 2019 I took my son to the hospital because he had a infection in his belly button, little did i know he was going to be admitted. That same night we were taken to advent health in Orlando, Fl, where he got a TON of test done. We had/have to go back EVERY WEEK to get his platlets tested to make sure they are where they need to be. On March 3rd, 2020 w e got the test results back saying he tested positive for Wiskott-Aldrich Syndrome. The Dr. came to us saying we had to set up a plan to get a Bone Marrow Transplant done. Advent Health in Orlando couldnt do it because they didnt take his insurance so we got transferred to UF Shands In Gainesville. We then met with the transplant team and they did testing and put him on the donos list. TWO weeks went by and nothing came back. Thats when his dad, me (mom) and half sister got tested. ONE week went by and the test came back as dad being a match! On May 25th, 2020 Tye'Sean will be admitted for his Bone Marrow Transplant and on June 2nd, 2020 his surgery will take place. He will be in the hospital for 1 month and will have to remain in Gainesville for about 6 months. During this time I will not be able to work and I will not have any income coming in. Anything that will be donated can will be used to help us with food, housing arrangements and other items
