The BMCF offers several programs to help patients and their families make the connections they need and resources to find information to help allay their fears and better understand the challenges they face.
Links and phone numbers for the Integrative Medicine departments of top cancer hospitals in the U.S., licensed practitioners, books and websites, all aimed to guide you holistically as you navigate your treatment.
Resources that can address the needs of all bone marrow, Hematopoietic Cell Transplantation (HCT), and cord blood transplant survivors, their families, and caregivers. Our goal is to provide education and support for people coping with the physical and emotional challenges of transplantation. Web accessibility to many of these resources means that no matter if you are at home, at a treatment center, or staying in out-patient lodging immediately following discharge, you are not alone; the survivor community is at your fingertips.
This list is not all-inclusive and may contain some diseases for which transplants are no longer performed. There may also be omissions of diseases for which transplants are currently the prescribed form of treatment. Please consult a health care professional for questions about a specific disease.
We are pleased to share our updated medical and educational handbook with you! Your Transplant Journey includes comprehensive information – for adult and pediatric patients, their family members, and caregivers – regarding the transplant process and all aspects of follow-up care.
