Patient Navigator

Patient Navigators provide guidance and support to anyone faced with a cancer diagnosis or needing a bone marrow or Hematopoietic Cell Transplantation (HCT) transplant.

The BMCF’s Patient Navigators guide patients, family members, and caregivers through the healthcare system to alleviate any barriers they may face during their cancer journey. In particular, a patient navigator offers support during a time of uncertainty by identifying resources such as financial options, housing opportunities, treatment centers, and medical specialist. Our Patient Navigators serve as guides for patients with the medical community.

“I recently contacted the Bone Marrow & Cancer Foundation about the upcoming SCT between myself and my brother who is fighting leukemia. I would like to thank your team for providing information and being ready to answer the many unanswered questions I had. This has been a very frustrating and scary time for our family, and we appreciate the ability to reach out and speak to someone.”
