There is a stem-cell registry in Greece that has collected swabs from over 7,000 willing potential donors. Unfortunately, these swabs remain unprocessed due to the lack of funding. Our goal is to raise the funds and have the swabs shipped to a lab in New York for immediate processing. Multiple people of Greek and Cypriot descent are currently in need of a  transplant. One of these swabs could lead to a donor match that could save their life.

In addition, this registry has the ability to swab 2,000 to 3,000 donors a month, however, they process the swabs once a year due to lack of funding.  Another goal is to continue to help the registry process the swabs as they collect them.
