Dear Friends, Family & Community,
As you may know, Tom was diagnosed with blood cancer in January 2021 and has been on his journey to recovery since then. After a long and brave fight (and many prayers), he is now blessed to be in remission since his bone marrow transplant in November 2021. Tom has been on maintenance chemo since February 2022 and is likely to remain on these treatments through at least February of 2024.
As the massive medical bills continued to add up (and are still adding up), Tom took a major hit to his income over the past two years, as he was unable to return to work full time until this past summer.
Unbelievably, in the midst of the family dealing with the emotional and financial stresses of Tom's illness, Jennifer suffered a ruptured aneurysm on October 14th. Miraculously, she survived and is focused on getting stronger and healthier, but the family will now be without her salary for the foreseeable future.
Tom and Jennifer are two of the most generous and supportive family, friend and community members -- and they have worked hard their entire adult lives. To get to the point where they need help from others is very difficult for them, which is why family and friends have set up this fund.
To say that your donations will be appreciated by Tom, Jennifer and the entire family is an understatement. They feel truly blessed by the support they continuously receive from friends, family and community--it means everything to them!
All donations are tax deductible and will go directly from this fund to pay medical and other expenses. You also have the option to donate anonymously. We would greatly appreciate it if you could share the link to the fund within your network.
