Reaching out to a Community of Support

Welcome to Adrienne ’s Carelines page! Thank you for coming to support Adrienne in her journey of recovery. Here you can:

My story, my life, my family.

In the past 7 months I have been through the everyday challenges, on top of the heartbreaking issues that have tested my faith. I was laid off from my job after coming back from having two stents put in my chest. My income went from 3200/ monthly down to 500/ monthly but I still tried to keep up on my bills and household as best as I could, though eventually was unable to afford it. My car was repossessed and my landlord was no longer cooperating. To supplement my income, I went to donate plasma and was informed to contact my doctor because my blood work levels were dangerously elevated and was not be able to donate plasma.

For 6 weeks I went through a full workup, ultrasound, PTscan, and a Bone Marrow Biopsy.  I was diagnosed with multiple myeloma, and the doctor wanted to start chemo treatment immediately. After 6 weeks of chemotherapy, I will spend a minimum of 4 weeks in the hospital for a Bone Marrow Transplant. As I let this settle in, my mom went into a coma and passed away this year 2 weeks before Thanksgiving. I am now homeless and have exhausted my coverage in the shelter. Right now my son and I are generally couch surfing until the gates of heaven blesses me with a new home and car.

My son and I would be grateful for any support we receive so that I can have a second chance at life.
