I was recently diagnosed at the end of April with multiple myeloma. I was not feeling well for over a week or so, and my wife finally convinced me to go to the emergency room and found out the protein levels in my blood were high. At that point we have been to several doctors and receive had received the diagnosis. I have been receiving chemotherapy by injections for about 3 months now. I was working until about a month weeks ago. I started having a lot of muscle spasms and back pain. My wife again convinced me to go to the emergency room and found out that i have multiple fractures in my back.. i  have been out of work for over a month now due to pain. We’re not sure if it’s associated with the cancer or not we are still waiting on scan results. The medical expenses, as well as living expenses are piling up. I have work insurance but not sure how it works if I am on short term disability. We have a 8 year old we are also taking care of trying to make sure nothing affects him.
