In October 2020 I started feeling sick and fatigued. I went to hospital and received several tests at Nairobi Hospital in Kenya where the doctors finally diagnosed me with Acute lymphoblastic Leukemia. It was devastating at first for me as I thought that was the end of my 28 years of life on this earth. I thank God for my family and friends who put up with my constant back and forth to hospital and even though the bills escalated they were able to raise enough money for me to undergo a specialized treatment in India. I stayed in India for approximately 10 months and was finally pronounced cancer free. I have been living well, eating good food, exercising, stress free and was full of hope but recently, I started feeling unwell again and my body became very weak. After a series of tests again, the doctors confirmed that my cancer is back. They call it remission this was in September 2023. My family sought it fit to go back to the doctor who treated me in India. I am currently in hospital in India receiving treatment. The doctors here are nice and are hopeful that I can fight this battle. I believe I can too because my future is very bright. They have scheduled me to receive 4 cycles of chemotherapy and thereafter a bone marrow transplant. Currently I am on my 1st cycle of chemotherapy and I am really fighting the side effects of the drugs. I can see my family is worried because they think am not getting any better but I am getting stronger by the day. My brothers and Sister have stopped their lives to pay for my care to save my life and I am so grateful to them. Some of my friends have contributed until they can no longer do so as the taxes are also going up in our country. So far the treatment cost is more than USD 10,000. The total cost for the chemotherapy is approximately USD 30,000 The bone marrow transplant in which either my sister or brother will need to donate will cost approximately approximately USD 30,000. I am seeking your support to help me to cover these costs as I go through this journey. I would like you to help me to raise this money to help my family and save my life.
