Hi everyone,

I finished my first round (3rd treatment) of chemo. This was number 38 total. I will have next week off and then continue again on Dec. 22nd.

I started losing my hair earlier this week. While I haven’t had much hair on the top of my head for a while now, I am mostly going to miss my loss of facial hair and eyebrows. I have had a beard/facial hair for at least the past 15 years, so this is taking a bit of getting used to. I still have some, but anticipate I will continue to lose it the more chemo I have.

The past week was much better with regard to my neuropathy. I still had some, but it wasn’t nearly as bad. I think I can confidently say all of the compression pieces I wore on chemo days has definitely helped.

I worked a lot today on another song I’m making, so be on the lookout for that when it’s done. I usually feel pretty good for the first day or two following chemo (I think it’s from the steroids they give me) and then am a little worn down on days 3-4. I am grateful, though, as I’m still able to continue working.

I’m really looking forward to this next week off from chemo. We have some Christmas events coming up, so we have kept plenty busy this month. Enjoy the rest of your weekend, and thanks for all of your continued support of me and my family!
