Update from Ryan:

Chemo #42 ✅

Great news to start off with….my CA-19 (tumor marker) number in my labs today was 234! It was at 808 about a month ago. This shows that my chemo regimen is working. This is the lowest it’s been since June 2022. Normal range is below 34.

This is the last chemo before a big CT scan. Brooke and I are headed up to Mayo on Monday for bloodwork and the scan. We then meet with the oncologist there on Tuesday and discuss next steps. I will give an update when we get back.

In other news, Brooke and I have been able to enjoy some in person Hawkeye basketball over the past couple of weeks. We have watched the women’s team and the great Caitlin Clark. We took the kids to a men’s game this week as well for Coaches vs Cancer. We also all went to our first Iowa Heartlanders hockey game last weekend too. Thanks to AYA here at the University of Iowa for tickets to these events.
