Reaching out to a Community of Support

Welcome to Anthony’s Carelines page! Thank you for coming to support Anthony in his journey of recovery. Here you can:

I was diagnosed with Leukemia (cml) in April of 2012. Since then  I have been on four different types of Chemotherapy drugs, because at a point my body will stop responding to a particular Chemotherapy drug and I have been somewhat okay since then. It was not until about a year ago that I had gotten really sick, I feel like the whole of my body was falling apart,  unable to sleep, walk or eat, until I finally got some help to the hospital because I was living by myself. It was when I got to the hospital that the Cancer team told me that my body had stopped responding to my Chemotherapy drug again,  I was hospitalized for about three months where I underwent serious Chemotherapy treatments and blood transfusions every other day, After I was a little stable,  my Cancer team came up with some combination of Chemotherapy drugs treatments for me and at this point the Cancer care team informed me that the only option I had left was a Bone marrow transplant because my Cancer has elevated to the Accelerated phase. I'm currently undergoing the Bone marrow transplant at memorial Sloan kattering Cancer center in New York, God blessed me with three beautiful daughters, two of which are in college. I'm currently on Social security disability income because because of my diagnosis. Any little Support will go a long way and will be greatly appreciated.God bless you very richly!
