Reaching out to a Community of Support

Welcome to Annie’s Carelines page! Thank you for coming to support Annie in her journey of recovery. Here you can:

My mom, Annie, is sadly having to endure a second bone marrow transplant for her cancer treatment after her disease returned.

She will be admitted to Duke Hospital’s specialty floor on November 8th to begin this long journey.

She and my father, Mike, will be required to stay in Durham, NC, for this process for 3-4 months or longer. They are having to provide their own housing while out of the hospital that is safe and secluded while her immune system recovers.

We are once again asking our community for support during this difficult time. All donations will help cover the costs of being in the hospital, her temporary housing, and other travel and medical expenses incurred.

As you can imagine, we are overwhelmed. Especially with my mom leaving my grandmother, Moo, who is almost 90 years old, home alone with their fur babies throughout this process.

We are leaning heavily on God, as my mom knows He is her saving grace, and the support of our friends and family to make it through this process once again.

We greatly appreciate anyone who is able to donate, as the last round of donations from the first transplant were truly a God-send for my parents during this procedure.

Please keep our family in your prayers and help spread the word to help us raise enough to cover all the funds needed so my mom can focus on recovery and not the financial burdens.

We sincerely appreciate all the prayers and support.

Love,

Marisa and Family
