On 10th september 2024,Samuel Luyimbazi 66 years a ugandan male,was diagonised with myelodyplasia dyplastic erythropoiesis with plasmacytosis (MDS) a blood cancer in which immature cells in the bone marrow do not mature leaving the body with very low blood cells ,after a series of body weakness and tiredness.Many costly blood tests were carried out to acertain the cause of his body weakness.He has been advised to have a bone marrow(Hematopoietic Cell Transplantation (HCT)) transplant .His currently undergoing chemotherapy planned for a period of 6 months,while we wait to get the money requested for for the transplant(approx 50,000US dollars,with identical donor,but may be more),we also started on finding an identical donor,which is also a very expensive test to do.

Through the carelines fund,we appeal to anyone for financial help to allow our dad have the bone marrow transplant done ASAP( its the only hope he has left).And to also anyone who has had MDS and had the transplant,to please contact us,such that you can speak with our dad and encourage him,give him hope,give him a chance to life.
