Dear Friends, Family, and Kind Strangers,
My name is Lara, and I’m reaching out on behalf of a remarkable woman—Cheryl Johnson, who is currently fighting for her life with a rare and aggressive form of leukemia known as Blastic Plasmacytoid Dendritic Cell Neoplasm (BPDCN).
BPDCN is a devastating blood cancer that affects the bone marrow and skin, and it is extremely rare—so rare, in fact, that most people, including many doctors, have never heard of it. Cheryl has faced this diagnosis with incredible courage and resilience.
After undergoing months of intense chemotherapy, Cheryl recently underwent a bone marrow transplant, which offers the best hope for long-term remission. While this treatment is lifesaving, the road to recovery is long and demanding. Cheryl must remain close to the hospital for ongoing care and is unable to work during this fragile recovery period.
We are asking for your support to help cover Cheryl’s basic living expenses—housing, transportation, food, and medical-related costs—so she can focus entirely on healing.
Cheryl is known for her deep compassion, her strength, and unwavering faith. She has spent her life lifting others up. Now it’s our turn to lift her.
No amount is too small—every donation makes a difference, and every kind word helps fuel her strength. If you’re unable to give, please consider sharing this campaign with others who might.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for standing with Cheryl in this critical time.
