Hi, my name is Eteline Pili. My life transformed in the blink of an eye, shifting from embracing each day with joy to facing the uncertainty of tomorrow. Although it's a daunting feeling, I remain resilient, and I'm determined to rise above the challenges. Last year, I made the difficult decision to leave my family home due to financial constraints and traveled back to Hawaii to bid farewell to my mother. The unexpected loss was overwhelming, and the timing couldn't have been more challenging. After laying my mother to rest, I returned home and underwent routine blood work, which revealed a shocking diagnosis ?. I checked into the hospital, and the doctor delivered the devastating news that I have aggressive AML leukemia. My heart sank, but I refused to give up. I had just buried my mom, and the financial burden was crippling. I was told I needed to travel to Arizona to undergo intensive chemotherapy, which would involve taking four different chemos daily for five days. Although the prospect seemed insurmountable, I drew upon my inner strength and persevered. I returned home after a month, only to be told I needed to undergo the same chemotherapy again. My heart broke once more, as I had to leave my family behind, but I remained steadfast in my determination. Another month passed, and I completed the chemotherapy. I'm now home with my loved ones, and I'm grateful to have achieved remission. However, the journey has left me with a staggering amount of medical bills and other expenses. My husband has been my rock, supporting me throughout this ordeal, and I'm blessed to have him by my side. I'm sharing my story because I've been given a second chance at life, and I'm eager to seize it. I've been presented with the opportunity to undergo a bone marrow transplant, but I need to undergo dental work caused by the chemotherapy, which carries a hefty price tag of roughly $3,300, just to extract eight teeth. I still have other medical expenses to cover, and that's why I'm reaching out for help. I've applied for Medicaid and conducted my own research, but unfortunately, I've been met with rejection. I've never been one to ask for donations, but I'm desperate for a chance to live a longer, healthier life with my loved ones. Please help me secure a second chance at life, and let's work together to create a brighter future for myself and my family. I'm grateful for any contribution, and I appreciate your love and support.
