Reaching out to a Community of Support

Welcome to Darrel’s Carelines page! Thank you for coming to support Darrel in journey of recovery. Here you can:

Dear friends and anyone concerned,

I found out I had bone cancer 2 years ago. I had to have rods put in one of my legs and had a stroke undergoing treatment. Over the next few years it’s going to be a really hard to get my life back. I felt like it was time to let people know that I am going through a hard time at this point. I am currently on SSI, but part of the total amount is taken from me to a point where I am struggling and can barely pay my bills. In addition, I have problems with my speech. I would like to get back to being able to talk to people, sing in church, and do what I can do to help the homeless and all that I can – even if they are unable to help me in return.

I am outreaching my community asking for help. I want everyone to know that I am not just asking for donations for fun, but that I actually have real problems and am going through hell trying to put my life back together. I have friends that are trying to help, but I come from a poor family and things are hard for everyone, not just me. I’m reaching out to see if someone will give a helping hand knowing what is what God wants us to do. I would be grateful for even just a dime, every little bit will help. In God’s name, thank you.

You can donate through this page, or contacting the Bone Marrow & Cancer Foundation Directly at 1-800-365-1336. You can also contact any manager at Pete’s Resturant. The people in this restaurant have been good to me and looked over me when times were hard. I’m thankful to everyone that works there.

All donations will go to Darrel White. the Bone Marrow & Cancer Foundation’s One-to-One Funds are designed to support patients through this difficult transplant journey.  Thank you in advance for your support.  All gifts are tax deductible.

Thank you and God Bless!
