Dear friends and family,

Thank you for visiting my One-to-One Fund.

the Bone Marrow & Cancer Foundation’s One-to-One Funds are designed to support patients through this difficult transplant journey. Thank you in advance for your support. All gifts are tax deductible.

My name is Jeffrey Fields. I am 47 years old and we live in Scottsdale, Arizona. I have been married to my wonderful wife, Janeth Fields for almost 9 years and we have 2 beautiful girls, Mackenzie (7 years old) and Madison (3 years old). We are a Christian family and love the Lord Jesus who is at the center of our lives and relationships. I have been a full time Realtor (self employed) in the Phoenix area for over 24 years and worked long hours but enjoy it very much (helping people with their home ownership and home sale needs and goals). I also enjoy staying fit and exercised 5-6 days per week and love sports. Before my diagnosis of AML Leukemia on March 24th, my real estate sales have been the main source of our family income. Of course the diagnosis has changes our lives drastically.

My bone marrow transplant was on 7-7-17. I am currently in the hospital recovering and it's been really tough. Not being able to see my girls and be with them is the hardest part of the process. I can't wait for my counts to go up and feel a little better so I can go home and be with my wife and daughters. The last months have been a huge challenge for our family in many ways.

After feeling ill through the night on March 24th, I asked my wife Janeth to take me to the ER. The next day, I was diagnosed with Leukemia(AML) (along with the flu and pnemonia). We were shocked at the cancer diagnosis of course. From that point, I was in the hospital for 37 straight days. Big changes for our lives in most everyway. Of course my job as a self employed Realtor has been put on hold ever since. My amazing wife was left to take care of our two girls. I am so thankful for my wonderful wife as she has been a rock for our family through this devastating experience. I have referred my clients to other Realtors but our income has dropped significantly as you can imagine while the medical bills, co-pays and our regular bills continue to pile up. This has been a difficult time for our family of course.

We appreciate any financial assistance you can offer us during this difficult time.

Thank you so very much!
