Dear friends and family,
I'm very grateful for all the donations we have received; its such a Blessing. Thank you and God Bless. Since we found out I had leukemia late February of 2016 it's been crazy for us. This has turned our lives upside down. My husband was laid off his job of 25 years the November before I was diagnosed. We lost our health insurance benefits and are trying to adjust financially. I'm seeing now that the Lord was preparing us then for what was ahead for us. There has been lots of sleepless nights, fighting fevers, going to ER, Drs visit and hospitalization. I needed someone full time to care for me and who better than my husband. We didn't even worry about us not working only on getting well.
When my first grandson was born, Gabriel, I quit my job so I could care for him, he will be 9 years old in January. Then 2 years later Adrian came they were my all and we were so happy. I would take them to their DRs appointment, care for them when they were sick, took them to and from school, etc, etc. Then in March of last year, Olivia was born although I just met her a few months ago I love her so, like I've been her grandma her since day one. My life is complete. My doctors advise against seeing my grandchildren until my immune system is back. It breaks my heart that I can't see them. My medical team assures me it's just so I can spend more time in the coming years with them.
