Reaching out to a Community of Support

Welcome to Spencer’s Carelines page! Thank you for coming to support Spencer in journey of recovery. Here you can:

In March 2016, at 18 years old, Spencer was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia. He was in the middle of his second semester in college. Unfortunately he had to temporarily leave school, but once he's well he wants to pursue a degree in pharmacy.

Now 19, he has a bit of a journey ahead of him! After many rounds of chemotherapy and his bone marrow transplant on December 30, he will still have to spend some time in the hospital and in Oklahoma City, where he's currently undergoing treatment. Finally he'll be able to return home, where he lives with his mom, older sister, and two cats; get back to school; and enjoy hobbies like cooking and gaming. He wants a dog eventually too!

Donations can help with the transplant itself, premiums and copays, medication, and transportation for family (his Dad, Mom, and sister) to Oklahoma City to visit and help support him.

Donations are tax deductible. Our fundraising goal may change as our need changes. If we raise more than we need, the rest of those funds will be distributed to others receiving assistance from the Bone Marrow BMCF.

We thank you so much for your support!
