Kellye Labrador
Kellye is a wife and mother of two sons, with the utmost faith and love for God. While she was taking pictures of her home’s exterior, Kellye slipped on some loose gravel. As Kellye was being treated at the hospital for spinal fractures due to the fall, it was discovered she had multiple myeloma.
Immediately upon diagnosis, Kellye received targeted radiation therapy to specific parts of the compressed spine. Following radiation she received chemotherapy to wipe out the rest of the cancer. Kellye is presently undergoing a stem cell transplant in California. Kellye and her family are quite a distance from their home in Hawaii. She will remain in the hospital for up to six months for post-transplant care.
In an effort to eliminate this disease, Kellye has decided to partner with the Bone Marrow & Cancer Foundation to establish a One-to-One Fund to collect donations on her behalf. This financial support will alleviate Kellye and her family of the financial burdens associated with living and medical expenses.
